What's the difference between coaching and therapy?

This is one of the most important things to understand: coaching is not therapy, and I am not a therapist.

While I am trauma-informed and have experience in the mental health field, coaching is about forward movement not diving into your past or processing trauma. We don't go back and analyze what happened to you. Instead, we use what was given to you (your past, your experiences, your pain) and transform it into something that serves you now.

Coaching is about creating the life you deserve to live. It's about recognizing patterns, building new tools, and choosing differently moving forward. If you're currently in crisis or need therapeutic support for trauma processing, I encourage you to work with a licensed therapist. Coaching works beautifully alongside therapy, but it's not a replacement for it.

How do I know if Coaching is right for me?

Coaching is right for you if:

  • You're tired of living on autopilot and ready to make intentional changes
  • You want to stop people-pleasing and start trusting yourself
  • You're ready to take responsibility for creating a different future
  • You're willing to be honest with yourself and do the work between sessions
  • You want support, accountability, and tools to help you move forward

Coaching might not be right for you if:

  • You're currently in crisis and need immediate mental health support
  • You're looking for someone to tell you what to do (coaching is collaborative, not prescriptive)
  • You're not ready to take action or make changes

What happens during a coaching session?

Every session is different because every person is different. We meet on Zoom for 60 minutes, and the conversation is guided by what's coming up for you, what patterns you're noticing, where you're feeling stuck, what you're ready to shift.

I use intuition, honest reflection, and practical tools to help you see yourself more clearly and move forward with intention. If Reiki feels supportive in the moment, we'll integrate it. Sessions are a blend of exploration, accountability, and real talk.

Do I need to have everything figured out before we start?

Absolutely not. Most people come to coaching because they don't have it figured out. You just need to be willing to explore, to be honest with yourself, and to try something different.

What if I'm nervous or not sure I'm ready?

That's completely normal. Starting something new especially something that asks you to look at yourself honestly, can feel vulnerable.

How does Reiki work in coaching sessions?

Reiki is energy work that helps release what's stuck or stagnant in your body. I integrate it intuitively during sessions when it feels like it will serve your process but it's never forced.

You don't need to believe in it or understand it for it to work. Some clients feel warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation. Others just notice they feel lighter or clearer afterward. It's a gentle, supportive tool that works alongside the coaching.

Can I switch packages or pause my sessions?

For The Foundation (month-to-month), you can cancel anytime with notice.

For The Transformation and The Alchemist packages, we're creating a committed container for your growth. We can talk through any adjustments if needed - but the power of these packages comes from showing up consistently.

What if I need to reschedule a session?

Life happens. Just give me at least 24 hours notice and we'll reschedule. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or no-show, the session is forfeited.

Do you offer refunds?

For The Foundation (month-to-month), you can cancel anytime before the next billing cycle.

For committed packages (The Transformation and The Alchemist), payment is non-refundable once the program begins. These packages are designed as committed containers for transformation, and showing up even when it's uncomfortable is part of the process.
